HSE POLICY
- Concerned discipline supervisor will assist Safety Officer to identify the major operations involved and the sequence of work activities, list of equipments, plant and machinery to be used in carrying out each critical work.
- Analyze each major operation and determine potential hazards.
- Prepare a schedule for carrying out inspection of all equipments to be used on the job.
- Safety meeting shall be conducted every morning through tool box talks in order to discuss all HSE issues with concerned site personnel.
- Induction training shall be organized in house to make people aware of the requirement of HSE requirements of the contract.
- It is the responsibility of Project Manager/Safety Officer to ensure that all those working on this project at site are physically and medically fit.
- FIRST AID kits shall be provided at site near the working location for emergency use and the Safety Officer shall periodically check for expiry date.
The following Personnel Protective Equipments shall be made compulsory at site for all site workers and they shall ensure usage of PPE at all time during work as required.
- Safety shoes
- Coverall
- Helmet
- Hand gloves
- Ear Plug
- Welding Helmet
- Goggles
Signs, Tags, Label etc., shall be provided to give adequate warning and caution of hazards to give instructions and direction to site personnel.
Storage of all flammable and combustible items shall be under the supervision of Safety officer.
Fire extinguishers shall be placed as decided by the site Safety Officer. These extinguishers shall be periodically inspected for validity and a record shall be maintained.
